Before using your drive, L aCie Setup Assistant software must be launched to format your drive. Turn on the drive using the power switch on the back. Connect one of the interface cables to your computer and to the hard disk. Plug the power supply into an electrical Power Switch outlet and connect the power cable to the hard disk.
